Important Disposal Information:
All SCS sharps containers have a maximum return weight based on their size. To avoid refusal or additional charges from the disposal company, do not exceed the total mailing weights (including the box) listed below. Weight restrictions are clearly indicated on the box and paperwork included with each container. Keep the original box and paperwork—you’ll need them when your container is full and ready to ship!
- 1 Gallon: Max allowable return weight: 6 lbs
- 2 Gallon: Max allowable return weight: 10 lbs
- 5 Gallon Pail: Max allowable return weight: 25 lbs
